BCMB first year student Nicholas Keith joins us for his first rotation

Updated: Oct 23, 2019

Welcome Nick! Here's what he has to say about his experience so far:

My first few days of rotation have been scrumptious (adjective)! Our PI, Joshua Modell, taught us all about cryo-electron microscopy (science noun) and kitties (noun), and the difference between ChIP-seq (science assay) and razor scooters (noun). Josh says that next week we're starting my rotation project on coffee (noun) and that, if we want, sometime we can even western blot (something you're dreading to do in lab). My lab mate Leo (lab member) thought that sounded gross, but I think it sounds really gnarly (adjective)! I can't wait to learn more about the SAP ordering system (boring lab responsibility) next week, but more importantly, to learn more about myself.
